International Festival of Old Culture
Cultural and artistic events and historical spectacles with the participation of the best musical, theatrical and re-enactment groups from Poland and abroad. Displays of dances, period costumes and processions through the streets in medieval outfits.

Malbork Days
Concerts, displays of knights battling and the Mayor of Malbork, as the host, presents the inhabitants with the key to the town. The first weeks of June consist of events with a medieval theme, while the following weeks are full of concerts and displays of contemporary culture.

25 - 26 June
Dragon Boat Races
The contests on the river Nogat between teams of dragon boats are now firmly established in Malbork's calendar of events. The town has several unique boats and is always ready, weather permitting, to organise displays and competitions open to anyone with a bit of imagination and fitness. The crews train on the Nogat and are a fascinating sight for both tourists and locals.

Summer
Siege of Malbork
Malbork's largest open-air historical event, which will be special in 2010 due to the 600th anniversary of the famous Battle of Grunwald! It refers to the historical facts connected with the castle being b sieged by the Polish-Lithuanian army, which, after its victory at the Battle of Grunwald on 15 July 1410, came to Malbork and remained for around two months. King Władysław Jagiełło of Poland and Grand Duke Vytautas (Witold) did not, however, succeed in takfl the castle, which only fell into Polish hands forty years later w was sold during the reign of King Kazimierz Jagiellończyk.

Magic Malbork
An incredible combination of history and contemporary elements. Malbork becomes a magical stage on which theatre shows, displays of dance and acrobatics and musical concerts will be played. The event was organised for the first time in 2009, and attracted many thousands of tourists to Malbork. A play of lights, lasers, acrobatics, jumping from great heights without safety equipment, fire displays, etc.
