Each year, for ten days in March, there is Opera Festival in Aalborg with about 50 performances, concerts, films and workshops around the city.

The Tall Ships Races 2010
Aalborg repeats the success hosting the great sailing competition The Tall Ships Races in 2010. For the third time Aalborg looks forward to have four festive days when the harbor is filled with ships from all around the world. Aalborg hosted The Tall Ships Races in 1999 and again in 2004, where over 1 million-people visited the city.
