Jonines (St. John's Night)
The longest summer day and the shortest night are celebrated in Wicker lawns with lots of singing, dancing, playing games, searching for phernery blossom, burning "witches" and jumping over the bonfire. Folklore groups give concerts all night long.

Parbeg laivelis (Hurry Shallop)
The multinational festival of authentic folk attracts groups from different countries. Since water had shaped the history and customs of Klaipeda region, festival events are often arranged on stages near waterfront.

Sea Festival
The main event of Klaipeda is celebrated annually since 1934. More than 100 vario- us events are organized (concerts, fairs, exhibitions, artistic actions, ceremonies of seamen, etc.). Sea Festival takes place during the traditional sailing regattas the Baltic Sail, "Sprint Cup".

The City Birthday
A traditional festival, organized in the Old Castle Place and the Castle Museum. It currently embraces the Award Ceremony of the City Culture Masters and the event "A Visit to the Middle Ages", where the citizens and guests are introduced to historical crafts, dances, songs, knighthood arts.

Four Winds
International Blacksmith Pleneria. The desire to preserve the old traditions and adopt the latest craft subtleties, and to promote the work in society, led the blacksmiths to establish the Lithuanian Blacksmiths' Union, and to organize open-air smithery shows.
