Rostock is the gate to the Baltic Sea. Big ferry boats unite the city with Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Latvia. Two hours separate Rostock from Berlin and Hamburg. From the motorway A19 from Berlin and A20 from Hamburg you will arrive fast and uncomplicated. From Berlin you can also use the train Intercity Express (ICE). The airport Rostock-Laage has the scheduled flights to Munich, Cologne and soon to Stuttgart.

While 200 deep sea fishers search for the longest cod to elect the one and only Cod King, visitors experience the vivid market life, the evening boat parade and fireworks.
