Kärdla
Mostly people come to Hiiumaa by ferries, either from Rohuküla to Heltermaa orfromTriigi in Saaremaa to Sõru. Timetables and other information on ferries can be found on website www.laevakompanii.ee. The quickiestway to reach Hiiumaa is by air. There are regular flights between Tallinn and Kärdla and the information on schedules, tickets, etc.can be found on www.avies.ee

HIIUMAA CHILDREN'S FESTIVAL
Annual children's festival has declared the beginning of summer
since 2001. 3 days lasting festival starts with festive parade,
followed by days full of performances by children as well as
workshops, competitions, trampolines, merry-go-rounds
and other fun things to keep yourself busy with. Everybody's
favourite is the children's version of "Who wants to be a
millionaire" with candies for prizes and TV show's host. Festival
offers entertainment for all ages.
