The Commission on Sport approaches a number of sport-related issues with a special emphasis laid on integration of UBC youth and the disabled through sporting events. The Commission's objectives are as follows:

-    to create and promote contacts among young and elderly people in the area of sport and physical education
-    to improve a network for international cooperation in the area of sport
-    to promote exchange of experience and information among sports clubs, societies and cities in the Baltic Sea Region
-    to popularize sporting events among youth, the disabled, elderly people and integrate them through sports activities
-    to support financially sporting events in UBC member cities

Currently 47 UBC member cities are included in the Commission on Sport Contact List. The Commission meets once a year at UBC Commission on Sport Annual Meeting, which every year is held in a different town.
