IFDMYE
IFDMYE - The International Forum of
Decision Makers on Youth and School Exchange is a non-profit
international Association. It was established following
the first successful International Conference held in Israel
in 1992. It has since been proceeded by 3 more successful
conferences: Germany in 1994, Spain in 1996 and Belgium
in 2000.
Main Aims of IFDMYE:
- To increase the role of Local Authorities in developing
Youth and School Exchange
- Bringing together decision-makers in this field to establish
new partnerships and exchange ideas and experience
- To develop models for bridging hostility to friendship
- To minimise xenophobia through youth and school exchanges
- To develop ways to reduce costs in youth exchange
Activities of IFDMYE:
- The periodical organization of international conferences
and exhibitions, seminars, workshops and training courses
- The establishment and maintenance of a permanent office
for the collection, study and distribution of information
and research in the field of Youth and School Exchange.

as well as governmental and non-governmental offices,
research and academic institutes
