Invitation to the Tall Ship Races Kristiansand 2015

Dear Captain,

Kristiansand is the business and cultural capital of Southern Norway. Our sheltered coastline is famous for thousands of small, low-lying islands and skerries. Warm and sunny summers make this part of Norway ideal for holidays and boating. Kristiansand has furthermore green parks and large natural recreations areas within walking distance from the city center.

In 2015 Kristiansand will for the second time host The Tall Ships Races. H.R.H Crown Princess Mette-Marit is the Royal Patron of The Tall Ships Races in Kristiansand in 2015. She is expected to attend part of the program as she did during The Tall Ship Races in 2010.

Our dedicated staff is working with full commitment to comply with the needs and expectations of the participating vessels and crews. We can promise some entertaining and interesting days in Kristiansand, days that will stay in your memories for a long time.

We cordially invite every tall ship to set sails for the Port of Kristiansand and we hope to welcome you and your ship on July 25th 2015.

You will find more information at our website www.tsrkristiansand.no

Please contact assistant project manager, Marianne Tronstad (marianne.tronstad@kristiansand.kommune.no) for additional information.
