UBC has been invited to participate in the BALTADAPT Final Conference: Adaptation to Climate Change in the Baltic Sea Region to be held on 3-4 September 2013 in Riga, Latvia.

Baltic Sea Region Climate Change Adaptation Strategy BALTADAPT is a project implemented within the flagship 5.1 “Anticipate regional and local impacts of climate change through research” of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. It is one of the flagship projects selected by the UBC Executive Board.

BALTADAPT is co-funded from the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013.

UBC member cities can also take part in the Third Policy Forum on Climate Change Adaptation in the Baltic Sea Region in Tallinn, Estonia on 29-30 May 2013.
