Invitation: Youth week of entrepreneurship „How an active youngster becomes a young entrepreneur“

UBC Commission on Education in association with Kärdla Town Government, NGO Hiiumaa Ankur, Information and Counselling Centre „HUPS“, B7 Baltic Islands Network and Hiiumaa Cooperation Network invites you to take part in Youth week of entrepreneurship on 26th -30th of March 2012 in Kärdla, Estonia.

The topic of the week is  „How an active youngster becomes a young entrepreneur“.

26th of March – the youth visit schools to initiate young people to be active

27th of March – the day of environment: youngsters will clear up local forests, collect scrap paper and recycle that

28th of March - information fair:  meeting point of youth and  entrepreneurs

29th of March – workshops for entrepreneurship learning (handycraft, woodwork, organisation of events etc)

30th of March – forum „Youth and entrepreneurship“. The main question is how to become an  entrepreneur? Healiner is Rainer Nõlvak. Nõlvak has a lot of experiences how to creat enterprises, also is he well-known as a leader of world cleaning campaign „Let´s Do It!“

Thier success stories will present two young entrepreneurs: a photographer Triin Jermakov and an artisan Liisi Kummer-Leman.

Also we would like to analyze the summaries of 2009 Youth forum „Youth, work and entrepreneurship“.

In the end of the forum, there will be a discussion on topics such as: a) How to support young  entrepreneurs? (what are youth expectations before starting a business and how the experienced entrepreneurs can provide advice to the youth); b) How easy or difficult is it to start a new enterprise?

We call all cities to organize similar youth forum in your city! We can have a contact parallel with each others and talk about etrepreneurship on Internet environment.
