VIRUS
On 18th January this year a
youth club 'Virus' was founded at Šiauliai. It is an organization
for young people from secondary schools and gymnasium. Though
the club has been existing only for three months, its activities
are already known among schoolchildren.
Activities of the club. 'Virus' popularises
healthy way of life. It encourages creating one's own system
of values based on emotional origin. The members of the
club share their personal experience. They seek tolerance
when communicating with different people. Knowledge of young
people's psychology help 'Virus' in their activities.
Steps taken by the club. On the initiative
of the club on the 24th of February the youth forum 'Be
free' was held. A lot of schoolchildren took part in the
forum that was devoted to a problem of using drugs. They
brought drawings, posters and wall stands reflecting the
consequences of bad habits. The was also a vivid discussion
how to solve youth problems. On the 28th of March another
seminar 'In the trap of drugs' was organised.
Everyone of sixteen and older are welcome
to join the club. At present there are 15 members. The club
has its board, regulations, attributes and ready made project.
