Dear UBC Member Cities,

Mobility issues and alternatives to our present ways of travelling are attracting increased attention. Ride-sharing is one clever way of using spare seats, both environmental and economy friendly. Within the South Baltic program there is one project called Mobile Together, that is implementing ride-sharing in rural areas, later to be developed into a strategy of expanding the concept into other areas with insufficient public transport.
