Webinars on labour mobility

Webinars on labour mobility for students, human resources managers and employment agencies

Job seekers and labour market professionals from the South Baltic area still lack the knowledge about qualification, living and working culture in other regions surrounding the southern part of the Baltic Sea. The project "South Baltic Professionals" is organising a series of webinars designed to raise interest in the cross-border labour mobility practice.

The online courses are free of charge, and conveniently designed to be completed with ca. 12 hours study time distributed over 6 weeks. Course participants will be certified upon successful completion.

The webinars are composed of a number of exciting learning modules such as the geography and economics of the regions in the South Baltic area; trends and needs of the labour market; cultural dimensions and organisational cultures; differences in behavior and expectations; communication and etiquette; vocational training and higher education.

Particulalry for students, two additional learning modules have been designed: living and working conditions in the South Baltic regions as well as training on application for jobs in the area.

Course commencement:

• 16 February 2014 for professionals from employment agencies / job centres
• 9 March 2014 for students
• 6 April 2014 for HR Managers / Managing Directors of companies

To register for the courses, please contact Ms Regina Schäfer of the Virtus Institute for new teaching and learning methods at schaefer(at)virtus-mv.de

The courses are run by the Lithuanian trainer Catalina Brindusoiu.

The project "South Baltic Professionals" seeks to promote the South Baltic as an attractive region to live and work in, and to prevent well-qualified people from leaving.
