A long tradition of Winter Road Congresses in Finland

The tradition of Winter Road Congresses originates already from 1931. Today, the event has become genuinely international – a meeting place of road maintenance professionals from all over the world. Official languages are Finnish and English.

Winter Road Congress in Finland is an event specializing in winter service of roads, streets, public areas and estates.

The congress programme contains International Seminar, Exhibition, Demonstrations and Social Programme.

Traditionally the Exhibition and Demonstrations of winter maintenance machines and equipment have been very interesting part of the event. Practically all of the most important producers and manufacturers of winter maintenance machines, equipment and materials operating in Nordic market do participate.

The previous Winter Road Congress which was held in Lahti attracted more than 300 participants, while the number of visitors to the exhibition was about 4 000.

UBC member cities are welcome to participate in the event.
