Dear Sir/Madam,

Les Rencontres, network of European cities and regions for culture, would like to invite the UBC member cities to the Annual Meeting in Tallinn (Estonia)

on 9 - 12 June 2011, which will be held in the framework of Tallinn 2011 – European Capital of Culture.

The meeting will address the topic of cultural cooperation inside Europe, speakers and participants will discuss about cultural policies and arts of the Baltic. This major territory of the Northern Europe is rich of its cultural diversity, represented by the border countries of the Baltic Sea. It will be in question to highlight existing cultural cooperation. And also to identify opportunities for cooperation between local authorities from the countries of this region and the wider Europe. The UBC is welcome to share its experiences on this field.
