Launch meeting UBC Smart and Prospering Cities Commission

Malmo / Copenhagen, 26-27 May 2015

Wolfgang Schmidt, the acting chairman of the UBC Smart and Prospering Cities Commission (SPC) on his behalf and in the name of the Commission’s steering committee Lukas Wedemeyer (Kristiansand), Jesper Vestergård Hansen (Kolding) and Waldemar Sypiański (Ustka) cordially invites to the launch meeting of the new commission to be held on 26/27 May 2015 in Malmö or Copenhagen. The short answer if you can attend should be sent by Friday, 24 April 2015 at the latest.

Following the mission of the commission Connecting the Top of Europe the UBC Smart and Prospering Cities Commission will link professionals from business, government and academia. The aim is to provide a platform for contacts, strategy development and projects in relation to innovation and smart cities development.

In Malmö the commission wants to shape the future of BSR region by setting the priorities, actions and projects of the commission for 2015 to 2017.

Kent Andersson, Chairman of the Malmö City Council will welcome the participants. Morten King-Grubert will moderate the meeting. Morten has inter alia served as Head of Secretariat of Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassador Corps and Executive Director for Danish American Chamber of Commerce in California, USA.

The deadline for registration is 14 May 2015.
