Dear colleagues and friends!

The UBC General Conference in Mariehamn mandated and obliged the Executive Board to decide on the new Commission structure in such a way, that it will enter into force 1.1.2015. Accordingly, it must be decided upon in the coming Executive Board meeting (Växjö 29.-30. October 2014).

The Board appointed a Task Force (members: Heiki Hansen/Elva, Lukas Wedemeyer/Kristiansand, Soeren Revsbaek/Naestved, UBC SG Paweł Żaboklicki and Strategy coordinator Mikko Lohikoski (chair) to prepare a proposal for the Executive Board, based on the instructions of the Conference as well as proposals received from members.

I am pleased that the Task Force has now submitted its unanimous proposal, which now is sent to all Member Cities, Commissions and also Executive Board members.

Please have a close look at this proposal and send your comments to the Secretariat latest by 15 October.

After receiving your feed-back, the Task Force shall formulate its final proposal to the Executive Board for decision-making.
