We are pleased to invite you to The Midnordic Culture Days 2014 which will be held on 24-26 September 2014 in Satakunta (Pori/Rauma), Finland. The Midnordic Culture Days’ topic this year is World Heritage and issues of cultural, natural, industrial and intangible heritage of the Midnordic area. In programme there are lectures, case-presentations, workshop, poster sessions, possibility to visit two Unesco World Heritage sites in Rauma Satakunta and the Pori Day Concert by Pori Sinfonietta Orchestra and Riga Professional Symphonic Band  followed by awarding of the Midnordic Cultural Prizes 2014.

The Midnordic Culture Days brings together cultural field experts, researches, cultural organizations, students and others interested in cultural issues.

Midnordic Culture Days 2014 are organized in cooperation with the provinces of Satakunta, Osthrobothnia in Finland, Union of the Baltic Cities, Commission on Culture and in cooperation with the Midnordic Committee´s group of culture. The planning of the program has been made in cooperation with actors in cultural field in Satakunta, Osthrobothnia, Southern Osthrobothnia, Central Finland regions. The Midnordic Culture Days are funded by the Mid Nordic Committee www.mittnorden.net . The language of the Culture Days is English.

The Midnordic Culture Days’ program is free of charge and open to all attendees.
