Commission on Tourism is implemening the project called "Baltic Culinary Route- Enjoy Baltic Cuisine". Its main aim is to promote the traditional cuisine of the Baltic Sea Region and to develop the tourist offer of that area.

As you know, two years ago we sent letters asking you to send us culinary traditions of your cities and regions.

Project is in the middle of process. We already have information from cities like:

Norway: Kristiansand
Denmark: Kolding
Germany: Lübeck, Rostock
Sweden: Kristianstad
Poland: Sopot, Chojnice
Lithuania: Šiauliai, Kaunas
Latvia: Liepāja, Tukums, Jūrmala
Estonia: Kuressaare, Pärnu

Sorry if I missed anyone, but just finishing development of this part of the route.

Next month you will see the website of Baltic Culinary Route www.baliticcuisine.com There you can check the information about your cities and regions. But if you do not sent to us this message, be sure- they themselves do not find there.

So, if you would be so nice, please send us the following information.

We are particularly interested in the concrete places/restaurants were this tradition is cultivated as well as we would like to make contact with people who are connected with the traditional cuisine.

Please send us as soon as possible:
1) Small information about your city (1000-1500 characters without spaces with link to your official web site)
2) Information about culinary traditions in your city and region
3) Dishes,
4) Regional Products,
5) Restaurants and Hotels (maybe places as natural farms, fish markets, food festivals, etc).
6) Contact data (e-mail, website, telephone) to places or people
