Dear Sir/Madam,

The City of Umeå together with the Nordic Council of Ministers, the Swedish Ministry of the Environment and the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions wish to invite you to The Art of Co-Creation, the 5th Nordic Council of Ministers’ conference on sustainable development. Leader for the main sessions is our moderator Malin Rönnblom, senior lecturer from Umeå University.

The conference will be arranged at Folkets Hus, and there will be exhibitions presenting interesting projects relating to all our six themes.
We start on Tuesday evening, 17 September, with a reception. The following evening we will gather at Norrlandsoperan for a cultural event.

The conference will deal with the following six sustainability themes:

Sustainable consumption
Sustainable health and welfare
Sustainable transports
Sustainable urban development
Sustainable tourism
Sustainable learning and culture

Each theme will be discussed in sessions relating to challenges, best practices, study excursions and visions. When you register, you build up your own program.
