CAAC invites you to discuss on the Urban Dimension of the Atlantic Strategy

The next meeting of the Strategy and Coordination Commission of the Conference of Atlantic Arc Cities will take place on 19 April in Saint Nazaire (France). This meeting is aimed at discussing what should be the role that cities have to play in the Atlantic strategy, both during the 2012 Forum and in the future. To do so, the representatives of Atlantic cities, networks of cities and other stakeholders are invited to attend and send their contributions.

UBC and CAAC have signed a cooperation agreement in 2004 that in 2010 gave birth to the CECICN, the Conference of European Cross-Border and Interregional City Networks, that gathers together both organizations with Mediterranean, Iberian, Adriatic-ionina Cities and MOT. In 2012, the Atlantic Area will discuss its future on the Atlantic Forum, after the impulsion given by the European Institutions to this macro-region. Thus, the meeting of April 19th is a unique occasion to share experiences, views and common strategies so as to enhance the urban dimension of macro-regions in Europe.
