The Commission on Transportation and Riga City Council are honoured to invite you to the Annual Meeting of the Commission which will be held in Riga (Latvia) on November 15 – 17, 2011.
 
The subject of this year’s meeting is „Traffic safety measures for vulnerable road users – pedestrians and cyclists”. A great number of accidents occuring each year on the world's roads concern vulnerable road users, therefore it is extremely important to introduce measures which would help to maintain safety on the roads. The meeting in Riga will be an opportunity to get acquainted with the issues related to the traffic safety with the particular regard to pedestrians and cyclists.
