Dear UBC Friends,

Hereby the Commission on Local Safety, would like to invite all members of the Union of the Baltic Cities to our next meeting in Poland.

The 6th meeting of the Commission on Local Safety will take place in Gdansk on 6 – 7 of September 2012. Our meeting is part of the 3rd Congress of Active Mobility. Commission on Local Safety cooperates with the organizers to prepare meeting about European experience in safety cycling. We are planning a lot of thematic panels and speeches, such as experience in promotion of environment friendly transport, new forms of active spending leisure time and planning of friendly transport.

Furthermore during the 3rd Congress of Active Mobility, the chairman of the Local Safety Commission for subsequent years will be elected in closed session.
