The UBC Commission on Urban Planning and the City of Elbląg hereby announces and warmly invites to a seminar in

Elbląg, Poland on 01st October – 03rd October.

The topic of the seminar will be as follows:

ELBLĄG CITY CENTRE 2040

Elblag is a city with a glorious history, but success and development of a city was interrupted by World War II. City was almost totally destroyed during a siege.

Currently Old Town in Elblag is rebuild in retroversion way. During a meeting we will have a lecture and discussion about this way of city reconstruction and further steps of this subject in Elbląg.

Together we will look mainly at old town, downtown and Granary Island of Elbląg try to find “ soul of the city” and make this area more friendly and attractive to a citizens. You will find a map with indicated workshop area in practical information.

The focus in this seminar lies on practical group work as well as discussions and presentations on this interesting topic.
