Saving energy and the environment through sustainable transport solutions

- UBC Joint Commission meeting by the Energy, Environment and Transport Commission

Dear Colleagues,

The city of Tallinn and the Energy, the Environmental and the Transport Commission of UBC have the honour of inviting you for the joint UBC meeting from 10 to 12 of April 2013. The focus will be on sustainable urban transport as a key for decreasing energy consumption and improving our urban environment.

The location cannot be better for the chosen topic, since Tallinn can be considered a prime case with their bold initiative to provide free public transport to all citizens of Tallinn. Also Tallinn’s aspirations to become the European Green Capital in 2018, have sparked interesting ideas that will be shared and discussed during the meeting along with inputs from other UBC member cities, EU initiatives and other relevant projects from the region.

The Seminar will provide excellent opportunity to extend your network and horizon on innovative sustainable urban development
