Two times a year selected restaurants and pubs in Bergen auf Rügen present special music at nights. Guests are invited to walk around, to have a drink and to listen to music. Participating restaurants offer different kinds of music, so there is something for every taste.

The Trombone association Mecklenburg-Vorpommern celebrates every fourth year a festival. 2015 the host will be the Islands of Rügen. The final concert with up to 500 musicians will be presented on the open air stage Rugard in Bergen auf Rügen.

Every first weekend in September the City Bergen auf Rügen organises public Europe Days. All international and town twin partners are invited to meet friends, to present their City, their culture – a big get together at the market.

Every Second Advent weekend, the inhabitants and guests of Bergen auf Rügen are invited to refresh their Christmas feeling. With Santa Claus, Christmas music, many stands with culinary Christmas specialities and gifts - the market brings fun for everyone. Nearby, in the Town Museum a special exhibition presents art and handcrafts from our international partners.
