Every year, VisFestivalen (the Song Festival) is arranged in Västervik in the castle ruins. This year’s festival will be like all the others, packed with interesting artists and there will be a fantastic atmosphere in the ruins.

The event is held in an arena in the castle ruins. The castle was built in the 1360s, and with metre-thick walls of stone, the venue offers its own unique acoustics.
This year will be the 48th consecutive festival.
