The BLOG FORUM GDAŃSK is a national conference of free ideas and a place for the new media community to meet and debate. Blogs are a dynamically developing sphere of communication which gives unlimited freedom to its authors: creative people who are full of passion and true individualists. Gdańsk is also known for its love of freedom. The spirit of independence has always been present here; this is a place where social and political ideas have been born, where new artistic and cultural directions have appeared. The city is an excellent place to be a forum for a debate about freedom of speech and accountability for one’s words, the future of the blogosphere and the ethics of blogging.
