Tallinn Maritime Days

This year’s Maritime Days invite visitors to a gripping journey through maritime history, introducing vessels from sailboats to steamboats. Guests of the Maritime Days this summer include sailing ships Tre Kronor from Sweden and Libava from Latvia as well as thrilling steamers TursoLeppävirta and Lalli from Finland. After long leisurely years, Estonia’s own historic S/S Admiral will fire up her steam boilers on Tallinn Bay and the vessels Kajsamoor and Hoppet, owned by Estonian Historic Ships Union (Eesti Ajalooliste Laevade Selts), will also hoist their sails to harness a few waves. The vessels unite their browess to celebrate the centennial of the steam-powered icebreaker Suur Tõll.
