Falsters Minder - The Tsar's House

Falsters Minder - The Tsar's House

The house of the tsar is situated in Nykøbing, viz as a historical half-timbered building from the 1690's. Here, you will find a piece of the town's civic history with its exhibitions of Falster's history.
The museum's collection is a string of pearls consisting of authentic objects that depict Guldborgsund Kommune's cultural history from ancient to modern times.. The exhibitions at the museum show only a fraction of the collection. The collection consists of a variety of different antique artefacts like toys, textiles, Christmas decorations, tools and instruments; things that collectively give a more detailed picture of past times in both town and country to present and future visitors.
The exhibitions invite everyone to make a trip into Falster's past, i.e. to gain an insight into the island's town and country culture from the Middle Ages until the present day.
Open: all year
